Nurturing Play and Learning Spaces

A cosy play space where children can learn and discover through their senses. The room is filled with carefully selected resources that promote active play, interaction, and exploration. It features a sensory tent, book area, home corner, Montessori resources, and more. There is also direct access to a covered outdoor play area.

A larger space designed to ignite children's imaginations and encourage exploration. It provides opportunities for children to follow their own lines of enquiry, solve problems, and collaborate with others. The room includes a large building blocks area, role-play/home corner, Montessori resources, book corner, and equipment to support mathematical and scientific learning. It also has access to its own covered outdoor play area.

A space for children and adults to come together to play, share, talk, and eat. It features a large art area, allowing children to independently choose materials and explore their creativity.

Both the Discovery and Explorers Rooms have direct access to a covered outdoor area, leading to zoned spaces where children can engage in supervised outdoor activities such as construction, sandpits, a nature pond, and planting areas.

An exciting space where children can enjoy the outdoors, develop a love for nature, and participate in supervised activities with our trained Forest School Leader such as, den building, woodland obstacle courses, cooking over a fire and using woodland tools.
