The nursery provides care for children aged: 2 to 4 years old

We are open from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. We are closed on bank holidays and a week over Christmas.

Our nursery offers a structured, holistic approach to early years education by combining the Montessori approach, elements of the Forest School ethos, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. We also draw on wider theories of play and child development to create a rich and balanced learning environment. Our practice places a strong emphasis on child-led learning, encouraging independence and curiosity as children explore and discover at their own pace. Children benefit from regular access to extensive outdoor and woodland learning environments, supporting exploration, resilience, and a connection with nature. We place great value on developing confidence, creativity, and real-life skills that children can carry with them as they grow. Our qualified and experienced staff are committed to nurturing each child’s individual development, wellbeing, and sense of belonging.

To register your child, please contact the nursery directly via our email. We will invite you to visit the setting for a show-around, where you will have the opportunity to explore our learning spaces and woodland environment, meet the team, and learn more about how we support children’s development.

If you decide that you would like your child to attend our setting, you will then be asked to complete a registration form. Our team will be happy to guide you through each step of the process and answer any questions you may have along the way.

The waiting list can vary depending on availability and the age of the child. It is best to contact the nursery directly for up-to-date information.

Your child can start once a place is available and all registration requirements are completed. Start dates can be discussed with the nursery.
